My guy and I have been dating for about a year now. I love surprising him with romantic getaways, adventures, etc. However, he never returns the favor. Our relationship has grown increasingly boring and predictable, but I don’t want to call it quits. How can I hint that being romantic is actually manly, and start a new spark in our relationship?

My guy friend has recently taken to massaging the back of my neck and shoulders/back. It may have been because he knew i was stressed about something, but he still did it numerous times even hours after i was out of a particularly stressful situation and was fine. However, I thought it was still random.
